Medical clothes for students

There are no clear requirements for medical clothing for students among specializations (pediatricians, dentists, surgeons, and others). At different departments and subjects, approaches are individual. On one pair, you need to sit in a medical gown and a cap, on the other - it will be enough to wear a surgical blouson or a medical one with a fastener, in the operating room you must wear a surgical suit.
It is important for every student to have a standard set of medical clothes in order not to get into an unpleasant or funny situation:
- white coat;
- suit;
- a cap;
- footwear.
There are so many known cases: I forgot my robe - I was not allowed to steam (unfortunate and unpleasant), I forgot my hat - the teacher gave me a white paper crown, etc. It is necessary to understand that a white coat is a visiting card of a doctor, you should wear it with pride and pleasure, take a cap and a change of shoes with you for a pair - this disciplines and helps you get used to medical clothes.
What should be medical clothing for students?
Robe for students
The medical gown must be white, colored edging and inserts are also allowed. The length of the sleeve can be different: short, three-quarters or long - you choose. True, in some departments it is not allowed to wear a robe with short sleeves or three-quarter sleeves, as in this case the clothes look from under the robe, which should not be the case. Considering that the school year begins with a cool season, it will be more comfortable to wear a robe with a long sleeve.
Later, after learning about the rules and requirements at your university, you can buy a second change gown with a different sleeve length. Regarding the length of the robe, it is desirable that the robe be slightly below the knees. Doctors have a rule: clothes should not be visible from under the gown. Therefore, wearing a robe of classic length below the knee, you will protect yourself from the remarks of teachers.
Suit for students
You should not rush to buy a suit (if you have not been warned about it in advance), as it may be needed, for example, only in the second year for some subjects. Students can choose any styles and colors of suits. Blousons can be surgical or medical - worn over the head or have a fastener, trousers - with an elastic band or with a fastener.
When choosing robes or suits, it is better to pay attention to mixed fabrics that include both cotton and polyester - the more polyester in the fabric, the less the clothes will wrinkle in a student bag or bag and the tidier the appearance will be.
The styles are very diverse: there are fitted, semi-fitted, with buttons, with buttons, with a stand-up collar, with a turn-down collar, with a shirt collar, with a belt, with decorative details, flaps and functional pockets, etc.
Cap for students
Many young people who put on a cap for the first time are overwhelmed by the feeling of dread and haunted by the thought of having to wear it every day. And in vain, the cap suits almost everyone, it's just unusual to see yourself in the mirror in a medical cap for the first time.
It is advisable to choose a white hat. Perhaps in senior years, especially in pediatrics, they will allow wearing colored caps with cool prints and drawings.
Advice for the fairer sex: be sure to try on the cap before buying, having previously collected your hair. In some departments, you can attend classes only with your hair tied and wearing a cap.
Footwear
A student can choose different shoes: medical (clogs, crocs, clogs, closed) or ordinary clean shoes that you can wear to class. Without a change of shoes, even in overshoes, couples may not be allowed.
Good luck to you in an interesting, difficult and vital profession!
